      <image:title>About Us - Our Story</image:title>
<image:caption>Hope for the Mourning was created by Cory and Heather Wessman in 2009 following the sudden death of their oldest son, Micah at 9 months old. They soon met and befriended other grieving parents and realized the vital role relationships play in healing from tragedy. Fellow grieving parents are able to offer support and encouragement to one another that is unique to those who have lost a child. We offer Biblical grief resources through care packages, grief mentoring and grief group opportunities. If you are grieving or love someone who has lost their child, please don’t hesitate to reach out for help, guidance and community. You are not alone, you are loved, you will get through this day, let us journey with you.</image:caption>
